I usually fish up here in Jacksonville with pompano type rigs I tie with a pyramid weight and shrimp as a bait is this sufficient to catching fish off the sky way pier? If not what is a good set up I will be there Friday. I will also be free lining some pin fish for sharks or whatever is biting where can I get pin fish? Are they easy to catch off the pier?

Alright sounds good thank you. What are some of the rigs that you use while you're out there?

Depends on what you are fishing for.
Your surf/chicken rig would work as well but pinfish will probably tear it apart first before anything else. I usually free line or use a fish finder rig.
