hello there, just a week away from opening season i was wondering is there a better bite during daytime on outgoing tides as there is at night? i have wondered if gags are out there at night since im only free during after sunset.. any info would be appreciated thanks!

They are there, but best bite is evening or morning. But ya never know when a rusty wants a meal.... So fish when ya can.

Ive caught some mogans at night all be it few and far between. they like ladyfish at night. or big swim jigs never caught the first grouper on a pinfish at night the prefered daylight bait

Big chunks of Jacks, Mac's or any other bloody bait will work best at night. When they can't see they can still smell. Problem is, getting a chunk of cut bait out is not as easy as freelining. Some use a balloon but with my 50 and a 4oz bank sinker I can usually hit the rocks.
