Please watch your language on the Pier or anywhere where there are others around. I usually have my kids with me and they are very young, and I really don't want to have to explain your language to them. I know it's hard when you get excited, but please just be aware of who is around you and understand that it might be offensive to some, and inappropriate for the little ones.
This isn't usually a problem on the skyway, but it was the other day when some young guys were just having fun, but swearing up a storm. I actually had to move much farther away so my kids didn't get an earful.
thanks in advance.

Did you say anything to the guys who were swearing, asking to be mindful of the kids around?

Did you say anything to the guys who were swearing, asking to be mindful of the kids around? No, I probably should have, but they were just having fun and I didn't want to be a jerk about it. It was easier just to move. I'm very sensitive to people being allowed to live their lives as they want without others intruding. I can swear with the best of them, it's just different when the little ones are around. I probably should have said something. They seemed like nice guys and I'm sure they weren't even aware of me or the kiddies.
